DopaDogs handles only the information needed to help protect your focus.

Information We Handle

DopaDogs (formerly Break Loop) handles information about apps, categories, websites, and usage that you choose through Apple's Screen Time API. This information is used to create, show, and run your blocking rules.

Storage and Transmission

Block settings and usage information are handled on your device or in the app group's local storage area. The apps, categories, and websites you choose to block are never sent off your device.

Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

To improve the app and understand where people drop off during setup or on the paywall, we send anonymous usage data using Google's Firebase Analytics. This covers anonymous events such as screen transitions, permission granted/denied, the number of items selected, and purchase outcomes. It does not include the names of the apps or websites you choose to block. We do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Website Analytics

This website (sumaho-dachi.vercel.app) uses Google Analytics by Google LLC to understand how often its pages and articles are read. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect the pages you view, the site or search that referred you, your device and browser type, and your approximate region (estimated from your IP address). It does not collect your name, email address, or other information that identifies you, and nothing from inside the app is sent. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. See how Google uses this data. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

"Where Did You Hear About Us" Answer

During the initial setup, we ask you to pick where you first heard about the app (for example, TikTok or the App Store). To learn which channels bring people to the app, we send your answer to these three places:

  • Firebase Analytics (the usage analytics described above)
  • Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase), where we store only your answer, the app version, your language setting, and when it was sent
  • RevenueCat (our purchase management provider, see below), linked to an anonymous user ID so we can count it together with purchase status

This does not include your name, email address, or anything else that identifies you.

Purchase Information

Purchases and subscription management for DopaDogs Pro are handled through Apple's StoreKit. Prices, subscription periods, renewals, and cancellations can be managed in your Apple ID settings. To check purchase status, we use RevenueCat, Inc., which receives your purchase records and an anonymous user ID created by the app.

Contact Form

When you send a message from the contact form in Settings, your message and the optional reply email address are stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase), together with the app version, device model, iOS version, and language setting. We are notified through Slack when a message arrives. This information is used only to reply to you and to improve the app.

Purpose of Use

Information is used to apply blocking rules, show usage reports, send notifications, and check subscription status. It is not used for ad targeting or sold to third parties.

Sharing With Third Parties

Except where required by law, we do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent. For the purposes above, we use these service providers to process information: Google (Firebase Analytics, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions), RevenueCat, Inc. (purchase status), and Slack (contact form notifications).

Deletion and Changes

Rules can be changed or deleted inside the app. If you delete the app, app data stored on your device is also removed.
